The vibes, described by this desk since August 18 as self-reported, have enrolled in a second online module and have written to ask whether it counts for continuing education.

The second module ran thirty-five minutes, which is five minutes shorter than the first. Asked about the reduction, the vibes said the first module had covered the fundamentals and that a person does not relearn the fundamentals. The comprehension check was passed on the first attempt. The vibes have mentioned the first attempt four times.

"You said self-reported. We have now reported twice. At some point the reporting becomes a record."

The certificate arrived Monday and has two decorative borders, an outer and an inner, separated by nine pixels of white. The gold seal is unchanged at ninety-six pixels. The line reading Issued By still reads, underneath, the vibes.

Continuing education credit requires an accepting body, which the vibes did not have. They have since established one. The Institute of Applied Sentiment recognized the module on Tuesday, publishing a two-sentence acceptance and a roster with one name on it. This desk asked who staffs the Institute and received a reply that opened with the phrase broadly speaking.

The margin of error was contacted for comment and asked, for the third time this year, to be left out of this. The request has been honored. The vibes will continue to be described as self-reported, which they now regard as a rank they are climbing rather than a correction they received.
